Talents

We appreciate your exploring how your talents could benefit the young women and infants who reside at Bethany House. It’s difficult to list all the talents that might help our residents, because everyone has unique things to share. Please visit our section on Time to see a list of ways to share your time and talents. In addition, here are some skills, talents and class ideas that have helped our residents and our program in the past and that are still pertinent today:

  • Tutoring (we often seek individuals who can help residents prepare for GED testing)
  • Cooking
  • Scrapbooking
  • Sewing
  • Knitting
  • Arts and crafts
  • Communication techniques
  • Proper etiquette
  • Exercising (prenatal and postnatal)
  • Make up application

The following skills can be used to help Bethany House in a number of ways:

  • Painting
  • Gardening and yardwork
  • Power washing
  • Carpet cleaning
  • House sitting
  • Baby sitting
  • Providing transportation
  • Mentoring
  • Office and administrative skills
  • Event planning and coordination

As you can see, if you want to be involved, there are many ways to do just that. Again, we are open to new and creative ideas that will benefit our young ladies, their children, and our program. Please contact us to discus how you’d like to participate. Contact us
