Friends, many of you know we were gearing up to expand right when the COVID-19 crisis hit hard, changing our world and impacting individuals and businesses of all sizes.
For a smaller nonprofit organization like Bethany House, we have experienced a major drop in donations but an increase of service requests.
The need for the support services we offer increases daily as frightened women reach out for help for themselves and their children. Our program wants to meet these increasing needs in our community, but we can't continue at this level without ongoing support from people like you who care and understand how crucial our role is.
Will you please consider increasing your monthly donation amount or would you be willing to give a onetime gift to help keep our program strong during these uncertain times?
We have survived multiple challenges since 1986, but this one is proving to be unlike any other.
Because we are a nonprofit that does not accept any form of government assistance, we depend on individuals, community partners, churches, grants, and other businesses that share our mission and have committed to give financially to our program. I don't need to explain how this cycle has been affected during the current pandemic. Yet, we still need to be available, and we need your help to make that happen.
